Dry Stone Walling Across Canada
After more than a decade as the
Dry Stone Wall Association of Canada,
John and Mary Shaw-Rimmington are very pleased to announce a new name,
Dry Stone Walling Across Canada.
The name has changed but their aims remain the same. They will continue to focus on the use of dry laid stonework in Canada, both historically and in contemporary applications, through beginner seminars, public events and their annual Thanksgiving festival.
While many of the DSWAC and DSWA goals are similar, it’s the Shaw-Rimmington’s wish that the name change will help make clear the differences between their activities, and those of the British charitable organization, DSWA.
I’d like to offer my very best wishes to John and Mary as they go forward with the DSWAC under it’s new name.
